About the Speakers

Founded in 2023, the Harvard Undergraduate Urban Sustainability Lab is Harvard's premier urban studies group, finding real solutions to challenges facing cities today. HUUSL is a think tank and publication, aiming to work directly with communities to make an impact on urban policy, technology, and design. Members of HUUSL run a blog, organize speaker events and coffee chats with premier urban professionals, are creating an urban job and internship network, and make up a wonderful community of students passionate about creating the more just, sustainable, and livable cities of the future.

About the Series

As our planet becomes increasingly urban, this series seeks to expand our understanding of cities and urbanization across sites and scales. The Urban Conversations aim in particular to link humanistic approaches with spatial investigations. We host public talks, and provide a venue for researchers to share works-in-progress with an interdisciplinary community, in a conversational format.

Urban Conversations is chaired by Bruno Carvalho and Daniel Agbiboa.
