 Shae O. Omonijo is a multidisciplinary scholar and doctoral candidate in the Department of History at Harvard University. In 2017, she co-commissioned the first public monument to honor a black woman in the history of Chicago. She received her A.B. in Political Science with Honors and a Minor in Human Rights from the University of Chicago.
