 Natalie Behrends is a PhD student in History at Harvard, studying nationalism, migration, and labor politics in a global network of socialist organizing at the turn of the twentieth century. Her research focuses on describing and interpreting the rise and fall of socialist movements on a global scale from 1848-1917.
