Lena Nasrallah

Lena Nasrallah is a PhD student in the Harvard History Department. She studies the connect histories of the modern Middle East and South Asia. Her proposed dissertation researches the migrant spaces of Abu Dhabi and Kerala in the late 20th Century produced by remittance and debt economies. She is interested in temporalities of space, family finance networks and multilayered conceptions of citizenship. Before Harvard, Lena received her BA from Yale University where she studied History.
