Kate De Groote is a first year at Harvard University studying Government and Film. She is from Salt Lake City, Utah, and is currently loving living in Massachusetts. Her passion for criminal justice reform was spurred from a class project in 9th grade and has continued to grow from her experience in the Criminal Justice Policy program at the Institute of Politics. She is excited to use her experience in Film and Government research to raise awareness about prison gerrymandering in Massachusetts this year.
