Jovan (he/him) is a junior at Harvard College majoring in Social Studies and Economics. Born and raised in Singapore, he is interested in thinking about food, cities, and identity formation, and is currently looking at gastronationalism in small and contested states. Outside of class, he is also passionate about venture capital and international relations, and has served as director at Harvard Undergraduate Capital Partners and the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new cities, writing poetry in these cities, and unsurprisingly, making and discovering good food.
