Allison Puglisi

 

Allison is a PhD candidate in Harvard’s American Studies Program with a secondary field in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. Before Harvard, she received a B.A. in History and Women’s and Gender Studies from Dartmouth College, where she was a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. Broadly, her research interests include African American history, feminist and queer studies, and urban and environmental history. Allison’s current project explores traditions of black environmental thought and organizing in New Orleans during and after the Civil Rights Era.
