She was a principal economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System before becoming a senior fellow at Brookings Metro, where she authored <em>Fixer-Upper: How to Repair America’s Broken Housing Systems</em>. Currently, she serves as Vice President of Infrastructure and Housing at Arnold Ventures. </p>
