Adam Himes is a graduate student in the Master of Architecture in Urban Design program at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Prior to his studies at the GSD, Adam worked as an architectural and urban designer for offices in Boston and İstanbul and a research associate in Boston, Pittsburgh, and Doha, Qatar. He led the content development for the free downloadable app, Jaunt: Pittsburgh (available for both Apple and Android mobile devices) and was part of the exhibition team for the exhibit New Issues for the Future of the City: Barcelona, Metropolis of Cities, curated by Professor Joan Busquets at the GSD in the fall of 2016.
He has also authored or co-authored a number of short essays for journals and magazines including Architectural Design and CLOG.
